In cases where Vermile specifically states that some Data is not mandatory, Users are free not to communicate this Data without consequences to the availability or the functioning of the Service.

Mode and place of processing the Data
Methods of processing
The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.
The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. Retention time
Unless specified otherwise in this document, Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for and may be retained for longer due to applicable legal obligation or based on the Users' consent.

How we use Google APIs and data
Vermile's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google APIs are leveraged to allow users to:
- Create and log in to Vermile accounts using OAuth
Data Retention
We keep customer data only for as long as an account is active or for a limited time as needed for the purpose for which it was collected. We will also retain information as required by law, to resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We will either delete or anonymize your information after a reasonable amount of time, or securely store and isolate it from further use until deletion is possible, if deletion is not feasible. When we no longer have a legitimate business reason to process your data, we will securely delete, anonymize, or store it securely and isolate it from further processing until it can be deleted. We will delete this information sooner if requested.
Your rights regarding the use of your personal information
You have the right at any time to prevent us from contacting you for marketing purposes. When we send a promotional communication to a User, the User can opt out of further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional e-mail. Please note that notwithstanding the promotional preferences you indicate by either unsubscribing or opting out in the Settings section of the Site, we may continue to send you administrative emails including, for example, periodic updates to our Privacy Policy.

Our Services are hosted in the United States. If you choose to use the Services from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, then please note that you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to the United States for storage and processing. Changes to Privacy Policy
